Our classes are lead by professional group fitness instructors who thrive on making connections with our members and helping them progress toward their fitness goals. Many of our instructors are also personal trainers and Pilates instructors with an advanced knowledge of exercise physiology knowing when best to push a client, as well as when to pull in the reins. We typically teach to the highest level participant in the class and make modifications for those who need them. In this manner, everyone feels challenged at an appropriate level.
You will find TRX, VIPR, superbands, stick mobility, physioballs, battle ropes, cable machines, and even rowing machines splashed into many of our classes. Don’t let this be intimidating, we will help you navigate our class menu to find the most appropriate classes for you. We will safely introduce you to new training methods and tools. You might even find some of our management team taking classes with new member to help them safely acclimate to a class.
Definition of Hybrid: “having two or more components working together that produce the same or similar results.”
Hybrid circuits combine fitness components of endurance, agility, power, balance, and functional strength with an effort to provide an alternative method of training that is safe, fun, efficient and effective. Every exercise can be modified to accommodate any fitness level. The group starts with an introduction and dynamic warm up and is always lead by a certified personal trainer. Our metabolic classes are kept to under 12 participants most of the time.
Hybrid Group Fitness Workout classes are designed around an intense, yet individualized, metabolic training concept consisting of the most advanced training modalities and tools available and taught by our advanced personal trainers.
Each bike in our studio is equipped with a computer providing accurate feedback about your power output. If you’ve never measured your effort in class, you will be amazed by how it enhances your training. The power meters allow our instructors to use RPM and wattage to guide your level of intensity. Our PowerCycle classes are designed to guide you through your personal training zones creating a customized workout every class with great music and instruction from some of St. Louis’ best instructors and elite cyclists!
Our studio is intimate with outside lighting, clean and packed full of fun. We know all of our members by name and our tight knit spinners are also active outdoor recreational and competitive cyclists. We are a partner to Big Shark Bicycle attending many racing events for them offering post race massage for their cyclists.
