Prior to joining NutriFormance, Ellen Claire earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of South Alabama in 2016. In May of 2023 she completed her Master’s in Nutrition Education through American University. Previously Ellen Claire had worked as a group fitness instructor teaching indoor cycling, barre, and aquatic classes as well as coaching JV and varsity volleyball. During her time as an undergraduate, she worked in a Cardiac Rehabilitation center obtaining over 500 hours of hands-on clinical experience which provided her with specialized expertise. From an early age she has always been active in sports, specifically club and high school volleyball, which has carried over into her professional life. She has completed several half marathons, full marathons, and an ultra-marathon over the last several years.
Currently, Ellen Claire is working to obtain certifications as a NASM-CPT and Group Fitness instructor. Her passion for health and well-being extends beyond her professional life. She embraces an active lifestyle by keeping up with her two kids, running with their dog Ned, strength training, and spending time outdoors. The United States Air Force relocated Ellen Claire and her family to St. Louis in January of 2022, and while they enjoy visiting the Gulf Coast, they are happy to call St. Louis home. Her diverse expertise allows her to create engaging and inclusive fitness classes, catering to all fitness levels. She also provides personalized training sessions that empower her clients to achieve their health and wellness aspirations.
