lisa-mclainLisa has been in the Fitness Industry for 26 years. She received her initial certification from the American Council on Exercise (ACE) in 1991, in Los Angeles CA. She began teaching at LA Fitness, Pasadena Athletic Club and was Group Fitness Director at a startup gym in Monrovia, CA. After 5 years in LA, Lisa and her family moved back to Dallas, TX. There she began working at Q Club, North Dallas Athletic Club, Premier Club and the world renowned Cooper Fitness Center. Lisa became certified as a Personal Trainer while working at the Cooper Fitness Center in Dallas, through the Cooper Institute of Aerobic Research.  Lisa also received certification through ACE as a Personal Trainer.

Before moving to St. Louis in 2010, Lisa spent the previous 13 years at Nautilus Sport and Fitness Center in Sherman, TX where she served as a Group Fitness Instructor, and Personal Trainer. She also started and grew their indoor cycling program, and worked as Group Fitness Director. While in Sherman she also served on the Board of the Wishing Well Foundation, co-chaired Workout for a Wish Aerobathon, and served as Women’s Ministry Leader and High School Ministry Director in the church that she attended.

Before she and her husband moved to LA, they spent 4 years in the largest international, inter-denominational missions organization, called Youth With a Mission. She worked in orphanages, as well as local churches in Mexico, Canada, and the United States. She also worked in the local Crisis Pregnancy Center.

Lisa has also been trained in Mat Pilates, Kettlebell, Bootcamp Fitness, and Yoga Fundamentals.

Lisa has run multiple half-marathons, as well as the Fort Worth Cowtown Marathon. She enjoys being with her family most of all – laughing loud, and having fun. She has 3 grown children, and 1 dog.
