Biography of
Tim McDoniel, BA,CPT
Certified Personal Trainer, Sports Performance Coach

Tim has been a sports performance coach with Athletic Republic since January of 2008 Tim McDonieland a personal trainer for NutriFormance since March of 2008. Tim has always had a passion for athletics, coaching and playing basketball at the youth, high school and the collegiate level. Tim also played baseball at the youth and high school level.

Prior to NutriFormance & Athletic Republic, Tim was an Assistant Coach for the Men’s Basketball Team at Webster University. Tim served as an assistant to Chris Bunch for three seasons, helping the team to three St. Louis Intercollegiate Conference (SLIAC) titles and three NCAA Division III tournament appearances. He also served as the Head Coach of the Junior Varsity squad, as well as helped in the recruiting efforts for the program. Before coaching at Webster, Tim was an Assistant Varsity Coach at John Burroughs High School under Steve Wilcutt. During his two seasons at Burroughs, Tim helped the squad to a 35-19 record.

Tim is a 1998 graduate of Christian Brothers College High School where he played basketball all four years at the various levels. In 1997, Tim was a member of the Missouri Class 5A State Championship team, the first for CBC in decades. After CBC, Tim attended St. Louis Community College at Meramec. Tim played under Coach Randy Albrecht, who has over 700 career victories during his tenure coaching Meramec Men’s basketball. Tim served as a team captain his sophomore season, helping the team to a 22 win season and a regional finals appearance. Tim then transferred to Webster University where he had a very successful two-year career. In his first season at Webster, he guided Webster to an 11-3 SLIAC record and helped them to gain a bid to the NCAA Division III tournament. Tim was voted by conference coaches to the First Team All-SLIAC Conference team and named the New Comer of the year for the conference. Tim was named a team captain his final year at Webster.

Tim graduated in 2003 from Webster University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. He is a Certified Personal Trainer and is currently working toward his CSCS through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
