Before joining NutriFormance/Athletic Republic, Rachel completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Missouri earning a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management.  During this time Rachel completed two internships.  The first was with the MU’s Strength and Conditioning program where she trained MU men’s golf, and both men’s and women’s cross country team in the weight room.  The second internship was with Columbia Speed Academy where she focused on implementing plyometrics and speed drills on young athletes.  While in college, Rachel also worked as a personal trainer leading boot camps, total body classes, and tennis specific group training sessions as well as the strength and conditioning coach for the Stephen’s College Tennis Team in the 2014-2015 season.  In addition to her academic responsibilities, Rachel played tennis for the University of Missouri. She became nationally ranked (#77), and played the #2 spot in singles and the #1 spot in doubles for most of her college career. She attributes much of her success to her fitness routine.

After college, Rachel worked at the Valley Club in Sun Valley, Idaho as head tennis professional and personal fitness trainer.  It was during this time that she gained an even greater desire to work with individuals to help them reach their fitness goals.

Rachel’s Achievements and Certifications include:

  • St. Louis Post Dispatch High School Metro Player of the Year 2009
  • Missouri State High School Singles Champion 2009
  • Trained and competed in the John Newcombe Tennis Academy and ranked in the top 50 by the Tennis Recruiting Network.
  • University of Missouri Tennis – Division I SEC player
  • USPTA – certified Professional Tennis Coach

Her experience in training and exercise has led to her understanding of the importance of fitness and  desire to share that understanding with others. It has become Rachel’s passion to train people of all ages and fitness levels.
