Libby Fennewald, BS, ACE, USTA L1 Coach

Personal Trainer

Libby comes to NutriFormance from a family of health and fitness educators. Her father once directed the YMCA, her mother taught yoga and was a health teacher, and her sister is a personal trainer in Houston, Texas. Her undergraduate degree is from Eastern Illinois University earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Libby applies her degree in psychology to personal training to help her clients develop the exercise habit for a lifetime. Because of her diverse background in coaching and psychology, Libby works well with older adults and children. Libby is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise.

During college, Libby gained a wide spectrum of experience from coaching gymnastics to being a white water rafting guide in Colorado. She also spent one summer as a lifeguard at Disney World. Libby volunteered as an aid in an occupational therapy clinic where she gained respect and empathy for clients going through rehabilitation. Libby has spent the last two years training at the Nautilus Gym.

Libby has worked with the Wellness Center of St. Anthony’s Hospital teaching seniors how to enjoy their lives through exercise and mental well being. Along with her work with seniors, Libby was an outdoor adventure instructor for an education program known as Adventure Us. Here she facilitated youth to explore and discover through activities such as rockclimbing, caving, and hiking. These initiatives help build self-esteem and personal growth.

As you can see from Libby’s biography, she practices what she preaches. She is even a member of Midwest Water Ski Productions performing pyramids, ballet and swivel skiing. Libby’s goals are to lead an active lifestyle for the rest of her life and to continue her education in the health field. Libby’s certifications and memberships include:
