35351_537600153898_420747_nBefore joining the Athletic Republic team in 2010, Johnny attended Missouri Southern State University. Johnny received a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion & Wellness with a minor in Business Management graduating with Honors. While at Missouri Southern, Johnny received various awards including the John Ware Memorial Scholarship Award, Deans list honors from the Fall of 2008 through the Spring of 2010, as well as leadership honors. Johnny played four years of football for Missouri Southern State University. He was a three year starter at wide receiver and started at running back part of his senior year. He received ALL-MIAA honors as a wide receiver in 2008 after recording 50 catches that season. Johnny was voted team captain and part of the Missouri Southern Football Leadership Council in 2009. In that season, Johnny rushed for over 600 yards at the running back position, averaging over 5 yards per carry and caught 25 passes as a wide receiver. He received ALL-MIAA honors as a running back at the end of the 2009 season. After his senior season, Johnny participated in private workouts with the St. Louis Rams and the Minnesota Vikings and was invited to participate in the Elite Pro National Combine where he posted a combine best time of 3.90 seconds in the Pro Agility drill.

Johnny currently splits the year between Athletic Republic and professional football. He is a starting wide receiver for the Nebraska Danger in the Indoor Football League. He signed his first professional contract with the Danger in February of 2011. Johnny trained significantly with the Athletic Republic protocols to get ready for his rookie season.

Johnny attended high school at Francis Howell. He played four years of football, as well as track and field. Johnny received All-GAC and All-District honors in football as a running back and corner back in his senior season. That season, Johnny rushed for over 700 yards and 11 touchdowns in 6 games including a 225 yard, 4 touchdown performance against Parkway West.

Unfortunately, Johnny suffered a torn quadriceps injury that would end his season soon after that game. He was voted Offensive team MVP at the end of the season. Johnny was also a member of a 4×100 meter relay team that took second place at the GAC Conference meet in 2006. Johnny received a medal in the triple jump in that same Conference meet.

He enjoys working with young people and takes a very enthusiastic approach to personal and performance training. He loves watching the athletes see improvement as they go through the Athletic Republic training program.
