Carolyn graduated from National Louis University (Chicago) with a 4.0 GPA in Elementary Education. She devoted her time teaching underprivileged children in the Chicago Public School system (and later Saint Louis City Public School system). The elementary school Carolyn taught at in Chicago was in an area where outside recess was prohibited as a safety precaution so she organized and ran an after-school exercise program for all students.
Upon moving back to St. Louis, Carolyn became a stay-at-home mom where she continued her interest in fitness and health by competing in half-marathon, 10K, and 5K distance running races. She also organized a “Health & Fitness Night” at her local elementary school by mobilizing health care and exercise professionals throughout the school to increase fitness awareness in the community.
Carolyn’s certifications and achievements include:
- AFAA – Certified Personal Trainer
- American Red Cross – CPR
- Teaching Certification K-8
Carolyn loves to spend her spare time swimming and running with her family. As a personal trainer, Carolyn wants to share her love for fitness with others so they can learn to achieve their goals.
