Cara Roesch, MEd, PT, CSCS

Cara joins NutriFormance with experience as both a Personal Trainer and Physical Therapist. While earning her Master of Education in Exercise Physiology at The University of Texas at Austin and her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at Texas State University, Cara worked as a Personal Trainer and Teaching Assistant.  She first interned and later coached at a performance training facility where she was introduced to functional and sport-specific training.  During her 2 years there she helped coach athletes in basketball, volleyball, golf, running, tennis and general fitness.  She also worked at UT RecSports as a Personal Trainer for 3 years, training clients with a wide variety of needs.

As a Physical Therapist, Cara has worked in several healthcare settings including Acute care, Inpatient and Outpatient Rehabilitation.  She has treated patients of all ages with orthopedic, neurological, cardiopulmonary and post-surgical issues.

Cara’s certifications and memberships include:

  • NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist
  • CPR/AED Certified
  • Licensed and Registered Physical Therapist
  • American Physical Therapy Association Member

Cara’s interests and strengths are injury prevention, post-rehab return to sport/activity and sport-specific training.  Her goal is to help clients prevent injury so they can remain active and functional throughout their lives, while also helping them achieve their fitness goals.
